New Canaan, Connecticut's Silvermine Art Galleries hosted a rousingly successful Jim Flora exhibition, "A Centennial Fine Art Retrospective 1940 - 1975." which opened September 21st and ran through November 1st, 2014. Christina Ciacci, gallery associate posted the following on the Silvermine Blog:
"In conjunction with the Jim Flora exhibition, Silvermine [featured] a selection of newly issued wallpaper patterns derived from and inspired by the mischievous art of "Jim" Flora.
"The Jim Flora Collection is a collaboration between Astek, Inc. and The Estate of Jim Flora, with The Double E Company.
[From Double E]: "Our goal is to create a line of well-made products utilizing remarkable art that will bring inspiration to our clientele. Further we hope to ignite a passion for little known artists whose time has come… perhaps, come again."
